GETTING TO SUN VALLEY
Getting to Sun Valley is part of the adventure! We recommend booking your travel early. Keep in mind that Sun Valley refers to both the resort and the surrounding village, while nearby Ketchum is the downtown area where the weekend events will take place.
AIRPORT OPTIONS
Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN): The nearest airport is Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) in Hailey, Idaho, located just 13 miles from Ketchum. Direct flights are available from several major cities, including Seattle, Denver, Salt Lake City, Chicago, and Los Angeles, with service from Delta, Alaska, United, and American Airlines.
Boise International Airport (BOI): An affordable and flexible option, located approximately 153 miles (about a 2.5–3 hour drive) from Sun Valley. Daily shuttle service is available through Sun Valley Express.
TAXI/SHUTTLE SERVICES
There are very few Ubers and taxis at the airport, so make sure to coordinate both your arrival and departure in advance. Some hotels have pick-up/drop-off options for the airport.
Mountain Rides: A free bus service running every 15–30 minutes with stops throughout Ketchum, Sun Valley, and Hailey.
